My First Foray into blogging…..

Well here goes, to start off here is some basic info about me:

I am 29 years young, I am a child of God *who needs a home*, I am a daughter, I am a mother, I am a student of life; and EACC. I am a sister, I am a friend.  I am fabulously fluffy and beautiful. (slightly cocky) I am a girlfriend.

About my Blog:

I am calling my blog “Mercies in Disguise”, the reason for this is simple; My favorite bible verse is: James 1:2-3 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of faith develops perseverance.  As such my *new* favorite song is “Blessings” By Laura Story which is based on these verses. (Would like to add, these were my favorite verses before the song came out).  In a later post I will explain why these are my favorite.

What I intend to do with this Blog:

Rant, Ramble, Complain, Discuss, Advertise, and Share about daily life, school, kids, thoughts. A lot of my posts will refer back to religion, because I am sincerely *trying* to have a more positive outlook on life, and I believe God is what will make that happen.

With that said, I will leave you with this.

Ever notice that when things are going really well in this thing called LIFE you don’t seek God, but the moment things take a turn, the first name you call is FATHER….. I am striving to serve God in the Good and Bad.
